The Wedding Photography Workshop Cheltenham was held at my home in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. This surprisingly didn't stop some people travelling from all over the U.K which is a great effort and being a sell out was very humbling. The aim of the game was for me to be an open book with no secrets and answer any questions that came my way. Some of the topics included in the Zero to Hero Wedding Photography workshop were off camera and on camera flash, capturing moments, editing and how I photograph couple's portraits with a live shoot where we walked around the streets and stopped when something grabbed my eye. I didn't want to use models, so we could have a real world scenario to show what I look for and how I get people to relax and be themselves. Two very good wedding photographer friends, Eve Dunlop and Rob Tarren stepped in and basically pretended to like each other for an hour :). A lovely bunch of photographers who braved the cold weather also had the chance to take some photos of the not so in love couple. The sun was super harsh so a great tester and one situation that sometimes requires a little more thought process. A big thank you also goes to Pixellu for sponsoring the wedding photography workshop Cheltenham and offering a free year subscription to the awesome Smart Slides and Smart Albums.
"Dan is approachable and willing to answer all questions, offer advice, tips and knowledge. The days was so relaxed and all those niggly things I'd been trying to work out just clicked! It was great to spend some time practicing with our cameras and putting into action some of the elements we had discussed earlier in the day. Dan really helped to make me think in a more creative way and understand the benefits of using on and off camera flash.Thank you for an excellent and enjoyable wedding photographer training course, which I would highly recommend."

"What a great day. Was made to feel so welcome and comfortable. I had visions of what I would take from the day but took away much more than I could have imagined. I've always been a fan of Dan's work, his creativity and ability to catch those special moments draw you in. It's not until you spend time behind him, watching him work you see his creative eye and ability to see things you don’t. I can not wait for wedding season now to practice what I’ve learnt. Thoroughly recommended".

"I had the pleasure of a day with Dan, learning about shooting within the photography wedding world! Awesome day, gained loads of information and had a great time. Met some great people also. Dan also took us out around Cheltenham to give us an insite to how he does what he does as a practical exercise. Well worth it and and couldn't of asked for a nicer guy to learn from. What more can I say except thanks"
