As a wedding photographer, I'm fortunate to witness many beautiful moments, but there are some weddings that truly stand out. Timasiri and William’s second wedding ceremony at the magnificent Khanom Beach Resort & Spa in Surat Province, Thailand, was one such joyous celebration. This was a stunning blend of Thai and Buddhist traditions set against the serene backdrop of one of Thailand’s most beautiful beach resorts. Top that with some world class Thai style Karaoke and you're on to a winner.

Located on the picturesque Khanom Beach in Surat Thani, mainland Thailand, the Khanom Beach wedding Resort & Spa is a slice of paradise. A Blend of Cultures: Thai and Buddhist Traditions
For Timasiri, whose heritage is from Thailand, and William, from Northern Ireland, their second ceremony was a celebration of love that blended both cultures beautifully. The wedding ceremony incorporated traditional Thai and Buddhist rituals that added a special touch of spirituality and significance. I had the honor of capturing the beauty and serenity of the Thai wedding customs, from the sacred water blessings to the stunning Thai costumes, all while showcasing the couple’s deep love for one another.
This was a ceremony full of meaning and was very intimate. All of Timasiri's local family took part in the celebrations and symbolic gestures were made to honour both their families and their new life together. It was incredibly moving to witness and photograph, as it not only represented their bond as a couple but also paid tribute to their respective heritages. It has always been a joy witnessing how different cultures celebrate weddings.
A Second Ceremony Following the Manor by the Lake Wedding
What made this wedding even more special was that it wasn’t their first ceremony. I had the privilege of photographing their first wedding at Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham. The contrast between the two locations couldn’t have been more different, but what remained constant was the love between Timasiri and William. The second ceremony at Khanom Beach Wedding Resort was an opportunity to celebrate in a more intimate and cultural way, but it was just as magical as the first, it just took a little longer to get there, I'm certainly not complaining haha!
In conclusion, Timasiri and William’s wedding at Khanom Beach Wedding Resort & Spa was a truly beautiful day. The resort’s natural beauty combined with the blend of Thai and Buddhist traditions made for an unforgettable wedding experience. Especially witnessing the awesome precession that led William to Timasiri.
