Welcome to Dan Morris Photography! I am a passionate Cotswolds wedding photographer, specializing in capturing beautiful, authentic real moments throughout your special day. With over 400 celebrations photographed, including destination weddings in 18 countries around the world, as well as the beautiful Cotswolds. I consider myself a creative documentary photographer, who also enjoys touching on some relaxed portraits. Often immersing myself at the core of the ‘action’ where I can find the most spontaneous, genuine and authentic of emotions. That being said I’m certainly not obtrusive and pride myself on ‘hiding in plain sight’, letting the day flow as if I wasn’t there. Capturing and telling your Cotswolds wedding story all with a happy smile.
Wedding photography is my passion, and I dedicate myself to exceeding couples expectations. I constantly strive to learn and improve, as evidenced by my photography achievements, including: 1st Place Winner at the International Fearless Awards 2024, Top 4 Photographers in the World with This is Reportage, Cotswolds Wedding Photographer of the year 2023, also Photographers Keeping it Real Photographer of the Year. Alongside speaking at numerous conferences around the world. I have the latest Nikon camera equipment. Using two Nikon Z8 cameras simultaneously to never miss a moment. ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER WITH LOT’S OF EXPERIENCE IN THE COTSWOLDS?
To start off I am so lucky to call myself a Cotswolds wedding photographer, Famous for historic towns like Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Bibury. Saturated in history, designated an Area of Outstanding Beauty, from its rolling hills, to its Cotswolds coloured stone buildings. The story of the region can be found to start from the wool trade. I first learnt this whilst visiting St John the Baptist church one the heart of Cirencester. During the ceremony the vicar shared his learnings of his church being called the Cathedral of the Cotswolds. I have photographed at so many iconic Cotswolds venues, such as Cornwell Manor, Cripps Barn, Elmore Court and Sudeley Castle
I’m not just a photographer; I’m your partner in creating timeless memories of your special day. My photo journalistic vision mixed with creativity, captures weddings in its own fun, laid back and artistic way. I aim to seek out those special unpredictable real moments, documenting your day without controlling the scene in front of me. Blending in and being a friend on your special day and not just your Cotswolds photographer.
The Cotswolds scenery I specialise in wedding photography and have had the privilege to photograph couples enjoying the best day of their lives. Weddings are colourful and bright occasions and that is how I aim to capture them. Telling story of the whole day, documenting memorable moments, sometimes humorous that you will cherish forever. The Cotswolds with it’s stunning scenery and historic villages gives the perfect backdrop.
I believe your wedding photographs should be more than a bunch of images. Creating great photographs for you and your family is my aim. Working with the light using pleasing compositions and patiently waiting for the perfect moment frozen in time. Giving you the best experience from your photography in the Cotswolds.
This electric Indian British fusion wedding was set in the sublime countryside of Great Britain, at an historic wedding venue which I always look forward to photographing. This 700 year old country house was built to entertain and was certainly...
