Special wedding moment at The Great Tythe Barn

Great Tythe Barn Wedding

Hidden in the heart of the Cotswolds and within walking distance of the historic market town of Tetbury, is The Great Tythe Barn wedding venue. A wonderful Grade II listed building, it's 16th century Cotswold stone barn is the focal point of the Estate which is surrounded by beautiful gardens and old farm buildings, which have been transformed into wedding guest accommodation for up to 90 people.

Set within Barn grounds, are 10 self-catering farm cottages, 12 Bed and Breakfast rooms, and the Tythe House itself. So you can relax and enjoy your wedding here and book the accommodation at the same time. Perfect for a wedding weekend. Walking across the courtyard to bed, after enjoying a few drinks and lots of dancing is always beneficial.

The historic Great Tythe Barn wedding venue retains much of its original features, such as exposed stone walls and wooden oak beams, whilst incorporating modern comforts such as under floor heating, well designed decorated washrooms, wooden flooring, atmospheric natural lighting, plus gorgeous views of the courtyard and surrounding superbly maintained gardens.

Wedding photography at The Great Tythe Barn

You can see from my images below that wedding photography at The Great Tythe Barn is a pleasure to capture. There are so many scenic backdrops scattered around the grounds. It really does help me as a photographer. Everywhere you look on a wedding day there are guests enjoying themselves. Making my job very easy and enjoyable. From the ceremony room, to the cocktail bar, there are lovely pockets of natural light showing off the gorgeous barn. You certainly won't be disappointed. Mix that with fabulous and friendly staff and you have what I consider one of the nicest venues in Gloucestershire.
