What is the best South West wedding venue?
I often get asked questions like, "what is my favourite wedding venue in the South West of England? " and "where would I choose to get married?" With there being so many south west wedding venues to choose from, questions such as these are difficult to answer. So I decided to create this guide, based on my time spent as a wedding photographer, helping you choose your future wedding venue. Here are some of my favourites for you to browse and enjoy.
Manor By The Lake
Website - Manor By The Lake Location - Cheltenham
Manor By The Lake is positioned on the outskirts of Cheltenham town, conveniently located close to the M5 motorway. This was one of the first venues that I was lucky enough to photograph at in the South West of England. It is a versatile venue with options for an indoor or an outdoor wedding ceremony. As you can see, the grounds are very picturesque and home to a beautiful lake which provides a stunning backdrop for wedding photographs. The interior certainly doesn't disappoint either, with its very own Rock Bar adding a touch of style and fun to the celebrations. Finally, what sets this venue apart is the people who work there; professional, friendly and hardworking they simply cannot do enough for couples on their wedding day.

Website - Cripps Barn Location - Cirencester
Cripps Barn is the first of the barn wedding venues included in this guide. Situated close to the town of Cirencester and the charming Cotswold village of Bibury, there are ample places nearby for wedding accommodation. You can get married in the barn itself or outdoors, nestled in a glade amongst the trees. During the colder months couples and guests alike can cosy up next to the traditional open fireplace. Outside there is a large, sunny south facing terrace with firepits and gardens for guests to explore. If it's a feast you're after then Cripps Barn will not disappoint; the food here is truly delicious with the venue being renowned for its barbecues and rotisseries. After the food has settled and the drink is flowing, guests can party the night away until 1am on the dance floor. Cripps Barn is owned and run by Cripps and Co who have 8 venues scattered around the UK; another being Stone Barn which I have also included in this list below.
