As those wedding photography highlights 2025 comes to a close, I’m taking a moment to reflect on what has been another incredible year as a wedding photographer. From sun-soaked beaches in Thailand to timeless countryside venues in the Cotswolds, and a few unexpected stops in between this year has reminded me why I love doing what I do.
The year began in spectacular fashion with a wedding at Khanom Beach, Thailand. There’s certainly something magical about photographing a couple deeply in love, surrounded by palm trees, ocean breeze, and golden light. It was a perfect way to kick off 2025 and set the tone for everything that followed.
Back home in the Cotswolds, where I’m based, I returned to some of my all-time favourite venues. Cripps Barn, Stone Barn, Manor by the Lake, and Clearwell Castle each brought their own character and charm. These venues never fail to deliver, not just in aesthetics but in the energy of the couples and guests who fill them with life.
The Joys of Being a Wedding Photographer
One of the year’s creative highlights was a couples shoot in Brooklyn, New York. There’s an electricity to NYC that always inspires fresh perspectives. Wandering the streets with a couple who trusted my vision and let me do my thing, made it all the more special.
This year also brought new venues into my orbit, each with its own light, backdrop, and story to tell. I love the challenge and freshness that comes with stepping into new spaces it keeps me evolving. Another highlight was helping out Joseph Radhik's team (they photographed the biggest wedding ever in India) over in Malaga Spain.
Perhaps most touching was reconnecting with a couple whose wedding I photographed in Nicaragua. We met up three times this year, a lovely reminder that wedding photography often leads to real, lasting friendships.
On a personal level I managed to finish in the Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World at This is Reportage. Picked up more Fearless Photographers awards, I was a finalist at The Street Photographers Foundation and The Istanbul Street Photography Festival.
To all the couples who trusted me to document their special day in 2025, a massive thank you. Here’s to more love, light, and magical moments that matter in 2026.
